Good afternoon. Let me start today’s briefing.

This is my first press briefing of the year 2026. I wish you all a happy new year.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Cho Hyun will receive policy briefings from its affiliated government agencies as well as public and other related institutions from January 8 to through 12 and stress that they should do their utmost to implement national policy tasks.

The series of policy briefings will be kicked off by the Korea-Africa Foundation on Thursday, January 8, followed by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and the Korea Foundation on Friday, January 9, and the Overseas Koreans Agency and the Overseas Koreans Cooperation Center on Monday, January 12.
